Secondary Principal Weekly Newsletter

 Dear Secondary Families,

This is a reminder that school will be closed tomorrow in observance of Plurinational Day. We hope our students and families enjoy this important national holiday and the opportunity to pause and reflect together.

Preparations for Carnaval continue to go very smoothly, and it has been wonderful to see the energy, collaboration, and pride our students are bringing to this celebration. Thank you for your continued support as we approach what promises to be a joyful and meaningful event on February 6th.

We also look forward to our Awards Assembly on Tuesday at 11:20, where we are pleased to recognize students not only for academic excellence, but also through expanded awards that celebrate contributions including athletics, the arts, and the ways our students live out our core values.

As we head into the long weekend, I would like to thank our entire community for remaining positive, supportive, and engaged in the life of our school.

Estimadas familias de Secundaria,

Les recordamos que mañana no habrá clases en conmemoración del Día del Estado Plurinacional. Esperamos que nuestros estudiantes y familias puedan disfrutar de este importante feriado nacional y del tiempo para reflexionar y compartir juntos.

Los preparativos para Carnaval continúan desarrollándose de manera muy positiva, y ha sido un gusto ver la energía, colaboración y entusiasmo que nuestros estudiantes están demostrando. Gracias por su constante apoyo mientras nos acercamos a una celebración que promete ser alegre y significativa el 6 de febrero.

Asimismo, esperamos con entusiasmo nuestra Asamblea de Premios el martes a las 11:20, en la cual nos complace reconocer a los estudiantes no solo por sus logros académicos, sino también a través de premios ampliados que destacan contribuciones incluyendo deportes, artes y la vivencia de nuestros valores institucionales.

Al iniciar este fin de semana largo, quiero agradecer a toda nuestra comunidad por mantenerse positiva, solidaria y comprometida con nuestra escuela. Les deseamos a todos un agradable y reparador fin de semana de tres días.

From creative academic showcases and experiences to meaningful moments of celebration, our campus has been alive with purpose, pride, and joy. Impactful teaching and learning continues to take place throughout our campus. A couple of examples this week include high school Social Science students engaging in interview simulations with outside guests - a meaningful real-world experience that will surely yield long term impact. It was a pleasure to see so many parents engaging with teachers and learning more about the year ahead. Your partnership is vital to our students’ success, and we greatly appreciate your presence and support. Semester 2 Awards Assembly We are pleased to announce that the Awards Assembly recognizing student achievements from Semester 2 of the 2024–2025 school year will take place on Thursday, August 28th, at 11:15 a.m. in the Theater .
