  Secondary School Weekly Highlights and Updates Middle School Friendship Games Our Middle School students participated in the Friendship Games in Santa Cruz last week, competing in volleyball, cheer, and soccer. It was an incredible display of camaraderie, friendship, and dedication from our student-athletes. We took the telefĂ©rico to the airport to avoid the blockades, and thanks to the athletic director's careful organization, everything went very smoothly. Thank you to all our parents who came out to cheer our Cougars on!    Academic Probation Letters Families of students who meet the criteria for academic probation have received letters outlining the areas in need of attention. This is a supportive measure to ensure we are doing everything we can to help foster student success. Dear ACS Community, As we wrap up the first quarter, I want to take a moment to reflect on our accomplishments and express my gratitude for your ongoing support. It has been a productive and fulfilling start to the year, and I am proud of the strides we have made together. Some key highlights from this quarter include: Cell Phone Restrictions: We successfully implemented new cell phone guidelines, promoting a more focused and engaging learning environment that considers the overall health of our students.  Assessment Practices: We’ve provided clarity around assessment expectations, helping students understand their learning goals and progress with greater transparency.
