Secondary School Weekly Newsletter Friday, February 28, 2025 Dear Secondary School Families, As we approach the long weekend, I want to take a moment to wish everyone a joyful and restful Carnaval break! There will be no school Monday, March 3rd and Tuesday, March 4th. We look forward to welcoming students back on Wednesday, March 5. Upcoming Events & Important Dates 🔹 Middle School Cougar Cup – March 10-13 We are excited to host the Middle School Cougar Cup on our campus after school from March 10 to 13. This event will bring together our middle school students for friendly competition, teamwork, and school spirit. We encourage families to come cheer on our teams! 🔹 Cultural Convention in Santa Cruz – March 13-15 A group of 20 students will be traveling to Santa Cruz to participate in the Cultural Convention from March 13 to 15 , accompanied by Ms. Baldivieso and Mr. Adachi. Dear Secondary Community ~ Welcome to another exciting week at Secondary School! 🎉 We’re thrilled to share highlights happening in our community. Let’s dive right in! Last week Last week, we had some important discussions with our middle school students about alcohol consumption and its impact on developing teens. It’s crucial for our students to understand these topics as they grow. We also held a parent coffee where we shared updates on the state of the secondary school, including some fantastic news about university acceptances! 🎓 Additionally, we updated all high school students on their service hours, reminding them that they need to complete 20 hours by the end of the school year.
